Session Outline

This week, players will build on the foundations laid in Weeks 6 and 8 by learning to hit the ball with power into different areas of the ground. The focus is on combining strength and precision, helping players not only strike the ball harder but also direct it purposefully through various gaps.

Through a series of targeted activities, players will continue developing their full swing technique while learning to adjust body positioning and swing path to send the ball both along the ground and into the air across multiple zones.

Watch each video carefully, and approach each task with intent and energy—this week is about expanding your power game with purpose and control.

Activity 1

Spin Throws Lofted (Straight) Full Swings

Duration: 10–20 minutes
Repetitions: 30–60 balls

Activity 2

Spin Throws Lofted (Cover-Mid off) Full Swings

Duration: 10–15 minutes
Repetitions: 30–60 balls
In this activity, you will hit underarm spin throws along the ground through the cover and mid off region using a full swing. Watch the activity video for a full explanation on how to complete the task.

Activity 3

Spin Throws Lofted (Mid on-Midwicket) Full Swings

Duration: 10–20 minutes
Repetitions: 30–60 balls
In this activity, you will hit spin throws in the air through the mid on and midwicket region using a full swing. Watch the activity video for a full explanation on how to complete the task.

Activity 4

Spin Throws Lofted (4 Gaps) Full Swings

Duration: 10–20 minutes
Repetitions: 30–60 balls
