Unleashed Bowling was created around a simple idea: young fast bowlers deserve access to specialist coaching and genuine support.
For years, we’ve built Unleashed around helping batters understand their game, develop their skills and perform with confidence. Along the way, we kept getting asked the same question:
Who should I see for bowling?
We realised there was an opportunity to build something specifically for bowlers.
What does an Unleashed Bowler look like?
We aren't trying to create identical bowling actions. We want to develop bowlers who understand their own game and have the tools to perform.
They bowl fast.
Pace matters. We help bowlers develop the physical and technical foundations that allow them to produce speed efficiently and consistently.
They have skills.
Fast bowling isn't just about pace. We develop bowlers who can control the ball, move it, change pace and execute different deliveries when the game demands it.
They understand the game.
Great bowlers don't just bowl good balls — they get batters out. We teach bowlers to read batters, understand conditions, build plans and know when and why to use their skills.
They back themselves.
We want bowlers who run in with intent. Bowlers who trust their action, commit to their plans and aren't afraid to challenge the batter.

Our Programs
We offer a range of training options for fast bowlers of all ages and abilities.
Initially, our bowling coach, Jacob Stevenson, will work with junior and youth bowlers looking to develop their pace, skills and mindset around fast bowling. We’re also looking forward to announcing an experienced player and coach who will lead our senior bowling program.
We believe fast bowlers, young and old, deserve access to quality specialist coaching and ongoing support that helps them understand their game, develop their skills and perform with confidence. We will be expanding our programs throughout the 2026/27 season, so please stay tuned for updates.
Private Coaching
Our private coaching sessions are designed to equip bowlers with the technical, mental and physical skills required to help them bowl faster, more accurately and with more skill.
Our coaches are trained in identifying common power and efficiency leaks within bowling actions and putting in place processes to correct them. We utilise a heavily data driven approach, tracking speed trends and accuracy metrics to give players a clear understanding of the progress they are making.
Our coaches are fast bowlers themselves, who understand the mental, physical and skills-based demands of bowling fast. Combining their technical and mental knowledge of the bowling action and bowling itself to give players clear direction and support in their development journey.
Small Group Coaching
Our small group coaching sessions are perfect for players who enjoy a more social training experience and those looking for a more cost-effective training option.
Training in groups of 6, players will gain access to the same training system that increases pace, improves accuracy and develops confidence in young fast bowlers. Our group coaching programs will be launching in Term 4 for players aged between 8 and 16. Over 8 weeks, players will work through a distinct process that gives them results, improves their efficiency and leaves them feeling confident in their bowling.

Jacob Stevenson
Junior Bowling Specialist
Jacob is a Hampshire Rookie contracted fast bowler from England. Over the past few years, Jacob has taken his bowling speed from 114km per hour right up to 138km per hour.
This experience has taught him how and where pace is gained and helped inform his coaching philosophy. Jacob utilises a distinct 3-step approach to bowling coaching which focuses on efficiency within the run-up, gather and snap phases of the bowling action. He focuses on nailing each of these phases in isolation, to ensure there are no power leaks within an action.
Tom
Rowley
Founder of Unleashed Bowling
Tom is the founder of Unleashed Batting and Unleashed bowling and is the brainchild of the brand. He will continue working with each of the bowling coaches to ensure coaching matches the Unleashed philosophy.
Tom understands how important this is for fast bowlers through his work with batters at community, pathways and elite playing levels. Bowlers need the same level of support. They need to feel confident that what they are doing is right and that they have a coach in their corner. This brand is all about delivering this for young bowlers throughout Brisbane.

Senior Bowling Specialist
We know how important it is for players at all levels to have access to the support needed to excel in the game.
Traditional coaching businesses focus on providing support to kids and we believe that this is really important. But what we have also noticed, is that senior players really benefit from having the support of a trusted guide and mentor. Most players stop getting coaching right around the time that they need it the most. We are committed to making this available to young and aspiring bowlers. We look forward to making an announcement on this soon.
