Session Outline
This week, players will learn how to hit the check swing. Developing the check swing is a crucial part of the development of young players and it is critical that they watch carefully and try and replicate the technical aspects described in this session.
Activity 1
Drop Feeds (Straight) Check Swing
Duration: 5–10 minutes
Repetitions: 20–30 balls
In this activity, you will hit drop feeds along the ground straight back past the bowler using a check swing. Focus on compact movement and soft hands to guide the ball with precision, maintaining control and balance through the shot.
