In this week’s lesson, players will be learning how to skip down the pitch against spin bowling. This movement encourages players to actively engage their whole body in the swing—especially their legs.
By introducing this footwork pattern early, we help players feel the connection between lower-body movement and power generation. Skipping down not only helps them access different lengths but also builds rhythm and flow in their stroke play.
The aim is to build confidence using their legs to support a powerful, fluid swing. Encourage players to watch the demonstration carefully and focus on getting their body moving with intent.
