Underarms Check Swing Straight Competition (2 Zones)
Duration: 10–15 minutes
Repetitions: 30–60 balls
Activity Overview:
In this activity, you will face underarm throws and use the check swing to hit the ball through one of two straight zones:
Zone 1 (Middle Gap): Narrow straight target directly back past the bowler
Zone 2 (Wider Gap): A slightly broader gap just off-centre
This challenge is all about precision and control with your check swing. You’ll need to focus on timing, balance, and shaping the swing to guide the ball accurately.
Scoring System:
3 points for hitting through the middle gap (Zone 1)
1 point for hitting through the wider gap (Zone 2)
2 points to the coach for any miss or mis-timed shot

First to 15 points wins.
