Sidearms Mindset and Transferring Back
Duration: 10–20 minutes
Repetitions: 30–60 balls
Activity Overview:
This activity is all about encouraging players to think forward and react back, helping them develop the ability to transfer their weight realistically when facing pace. Players should set up expecting a fuller ball, committing forward with intent, and then reacting back when the ball is shorter.
The focus is on reading cues early, maintaining a strong base, and learning to adjust the body’s movement pattern quickly and effectively. This drill helps players find balance between aggression and adaptability, improving both decision-making and body control under pressure.
