Underarm Spin Throw Competition (1 Zone)
Duration: 10–15 minutes
Repetitions: 30–60 balls
Activity Overview:
In this competitive drill, players face underarm spin throws and attempt to hit the ball through a single designated gap (e.g. straight, mid-off, or mid-on). The goal is to encourage precision, focus, and repeatable execution against spin in a fun, gamified format.
Scoring System:
🎯 1 Point to the batter for each successful shot through the zone
❌ 1 Point to the coach for every missed target (including mis-hits or off-line shots)
🏆 First to 15 points wins the round
Instructions:
Set up a clear single scoring zone with cones (e.g., straight drive lane).
The batter receives underarm spin throws.
The batter can use any swing type (full, check, or alternating), unless otherwise instructed for a specific version.
Encourage players to focus on balance, control, and purposeful shot execution.
