Underarm Spin Throws Drives Comp (2 Zones)

Activity Overview:
In this competitive activity, the batter will face underarm spin throws and aim to hit full swing straight drives through two target zones:
A wide straight gap (Zone 1)
A narrow middle gap (Zone 2)
The goal is to develop accuracy, balance, and clean contact while learning to hit with control under pressure.
Scoring System:
✅ 3 points if the batter hits the ball through the middle gap (Zone 2)
✅ 1 point if the batter hits it through the wider outer gap (Zone 1)
❌ 2 points to the coach if the player misses the target completely
🏆 First to 15 points wins

Encourage focused intent—aim small, miss small.
Reinforce body alignment and swing commitment.
Adjust the gap width based on player level to challenge without discouraging.
